What are Custom Orthotics?

Orthotics are custom-made inserts that are designed to correct or modify any abnormal or irregular walking pattern. Can be placed in running shoes, boots, sandals, cleats, and/or skates. The custom made orthotics can help alleviate foot pain and the other parts of the lower limb (hip, knee, ankle). 
Any abnormalities of the feet (i.e. flat feet, High arch) can make your ankle unstable which is likely to expose you to any ankle and foot injury.

Without wearing any orthotics, the issues you have on your feet will not quickly resolve. But with orthotics, it will help distribute the weight evenly into the whole lower limb making both your ankle and feet more stable which will prevent or avoid further complications.

What Are the Signs You Need Orthotics?

• If you are experiencing foot and heel pain which affects your day-to-day activities

• If you have a high-arch foot or a flat foot

• If you have balance problems due to ankle and foot instability 

• If you are wearing the shoes unevenly

• One shoe may be worn out which causes your pain and discomfort. Wearing the proper shoes with the orthotics will prevent further damage to the joints. 

• If you are experiencing Diabetic foot complications, heel pain, or Plantar Fasciitis
